Kanye West Reveals ‘Lost In The World’ Music Video
Kanye West releases the video for the final track on his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album. The video was directed by filmmaker Ruth Hogban and features references to blindness and puppetry. These themes are probably implying that though we we think we see everything in the world we really don’t see anything and we are nothing but mere puppets having our strings being pulled by an “unseen” puppet master. But then again, that’s just my interpretation.
The piece was shot entirely in black & white and features the strobe effects that Kanye made famous in his “All of the Lights” video, which was directed by Hype Williams. There is a little bit of a fashion reference in the visuals as well as we see fashion models donning over-sized white t-shirts.
Overall “Lost In This World” is a pretty dope video that I would describe as being more of an avant-garde film.
