The Future is So Bright: A Quick Look at Google’s Project Glasses
In the 80′s it was predicted that the new millennium would be filled with flying cars, robots, and scores of beautiful people free from disease. As blindly optimistic as those yuppies were, Google has pulled one trick out of its sleeve to make us feel like its 2012. Enter stage left, Google Project Glasses. Imagine talking to your friends, checking your calendar, and getting directions completely hands free. These augmented reality glasses are still in the testing phase, but New York Times writer Nick Bilton reports they will be available by the end of the year for $250-600.
