Instagram Photojournal of the Day: JR In North Korea
Award winning and famed French photographer and social activist JR has traveled to the secretive country of North Korea and has Instagrammed some beautiful photos from his visit. His gallery showcases the life and spirit of the people of the country and gives a rare look into a nation shrouded in mystery.
The following photo set is a very impressive display of photojournalism and proves how technology and Instagram have transformed the landscape in this area. I think significance lies in the fact that these photos probably would not have been able to be shared with the world if the only means to take them would have been with a less discreet DSLR or pocket digital camera.
